Modeling and Video-ing Site Characteristics?

Physi-Digi, Models and Vodels, Mideos and Videos, Milmic Design,

For video and model making, we’re considering picking out site characteristics and following through with them in the way we usually do in the design process. It kind of begins with a gathering process then churns into:

an analogous process to the characteristic (how can you use the camera to show the characteristic/process or how can you conceptually model these characteristics)

Then there is the layering of existing information and how we interpret that information or an assembly – this is eidetic images?  maybe something like diagramming. (This is where editing and multiple images can be put together. What is this stage in models? Starting to apply spatial characteristics/getting away from purely Julie style concept models?)

Then there is the vignette – kind of the composite of many things (we’re a little lost as to what this is for both models and videos without having some super polished versions of analogous and assembly)

This is kind of freeing in that we probably don’t need to wrap the entire site up with a bow and show much larger shifts/all scales. These can come through in model and video to tell some of the story but may not be essential.
